Specific features of the project: 

The field is located​​ in the northern part of the Caspian Sea. Kashagan is one of the largest and most challenging offshore oilfields discovered to this date. The project faced a number of challenges such as significant remoteness of the facility from the supply centers, complicated logistics and harsh weather conditions.
